Who actually cleans up the internet when trolls have raged, and who hides between the upper and lower stage and makes sure that the actors don't stumble? Based on the assertion that "there are no girls on the internet," the chorus of 'zaungäste' poses the question which people have to speak in order to be heard, and which spaces are open for whom – both online and offline. When does pent-up anger turn into hate? Who has the privilege to refuse and yet not to be invisible? Based on interviews with women who are professionally involved with the topic of invisibility in different ways, texts by authors, internet activists and cyberfeminists, and on rehearsal diaries, 'zaungäste' work their way through a hate tirade on everyday hate speech.
