Workshop and Community Day
In September 2026, physical FETZ will transform three theatre in the Ruhr region – the Theater im Depot in Dortmund, the Prinz Regent Theater in Bochum and the Grend Theater in Essen – into a vibrant festival brimming with movement, inspiration, exchange, community, skill-sharing and, of course, physical theatre, over the course of three weekends.
The focus will be on productions that explore, from an artistic perspective, the experiences of blind, visually impaired, deaf and hard-of-hearing people, and which are specifically designed to be accessible to this audience. Alongside these performances, there will be exciting and inspiring workshops, discussions with the artists, panel talks with experts in inclusive arts, and plenty of opportunities for networking within North Rhine-Westphalia’s regional cultural scene.
